ABSTRACT
The word paraphilia is defined as a type of mental disorder characterized by an obsession with unusual sexual practices (Random House Dictionary, 1987). Also, the term is believed to have evolved from two separate Greek words referring to "the side of" and "love" (Kaplan and Sadock, 1998c ).
