ABSTRACT
Today, sex offenders are found to cross all diagnostic and demographic groupings. Such individuals may be family members, neighbors, or acquaintances, rather than strangers to the victims. Age, race, gender, employment status, income, religious affiliation, sexual preference, and criminal history may not always serve as a possible variable in assessing sexual deviancy.
