The Globalization of the “Japanese” Structure of Accumulation in the Slow and Zero Growth Periods

This chapter examines the transformation in the slow and zero growth periods of the Japanese structure of accumulation created in the rapid growth period. The organizations of labor, credit, and market went through “East Asanization” and “globalization,” resulting in diverse trajectories for the workers, corporations, and the state.
