ABSTRACT
Everybody calls me Don Chuy, but my name is jesus Martinez, and the Murillo family are my amigos. I came here from El Salvador in 1982. I came by myself, and as I had no money, I had to walk all the way from the Department of Aguachapan, El Salvador, to the United States. The main reason was because of the disruptions caused by the war in my country. There was violence everywhere, factories and businesses were closing down, everything was just collapsing. The only hope was to go north.
