ABSTRACT
While unmanned aerial vehicles (colloquially referred to as drones) and cyber warfare have garnered much of the press and attention related to the “changing nature of war” and emerging technologies with important ethical implications, the increased availability and use of “non-lethal weapons” (NLWs) raise just as serious ethical issues for how we conduct and think about warfare.
