ABSTRACT

Children in their third year, All mothers should keep a book wherein to write the sayings of their children when a child speaks of honey as beejam, it reveals the creation of language. This chapter considers, the Childs sense of self; Development in the third year of life; Communication and language; Children's thinking; Play and learning; Two-year-olds in early education settings. Children aged between two and three need to feel valued and respected and we should give them increasing opportunities to make their own choices and decisions. Their speech is emerging but at times they still experience the frustration of not being able to make themselves understood. Penny Greenland suggests that just as five a day should be part of our healthy eating regime, a healthy movement diet should also be recommended. Exploration and experimentation sometimes arouse great anxiety in adults. The question is always how to balance legitimate risk-taking and safety.
