ABSTRACT
The overall need to save energy and the renewable energies becoming available provide new promising markets for Powertron because fi rms increasingly have to secure maximally accurate measurements of, for example, electricity fl ows and electricity consumption. In the past, power companies accepted measurement tolerances (electricity, oil or heating fl ow rates) of 20 per cent, but today they seek variances between 5 and 10 per cent only.
