ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the structure and management of project management. It presents a case study describing Six Sigma project management at the Samsung Group. The project specification is dedicated to the development and description of the entire project framework, aims and the relationships between internal team members and external stakeholders. A project specification (PS) is necessary to secure the planning process and the project efficiency. The PS should be divided into three main project phases, each consisting of separate tasks to be completed in order to successfully realize the project result. The first part of the project specification is dedicated to the development and description of the entire project framework, aims and the relationships between internal team members and external stakeholders. The second project specification element focuses on data and information sourcing. The third and final part of the PS pays attention to concrete proposals for improvement developed by the team within the project work.
