ABSTRACT
Common Core Language Standard 6.1 calls for students to “Ensure that pronouns are in the proper case (subjective, objective, possessive)” (Common Core State Standards, 2010). In order for our students to use each of these pronoun cases properly, we will need to ensure they understand what subjective, objective, and possessive pronouns are and the situations in which they would use each one. In this section, we will explore each of these pronoun cases.
