ABSTRACT
A rchitecture is an adventure that is best explored through the challenge of doing it. But as in any creative discipline, the adventure of architecture can be informed by looking at what others have done and, through analysing their work, trying to understand the ways they have met the challenges. Look in the notebooks of any great architect and you will see a magpie acquiring ideas from wherever they may be found, playing with them and taking possession of them.
