ABSTRACT

Knowing the basics of how to run your voiceover business is just the beginning. As your business develops, there are many things that will need to come together: your office, your demo, your print materials, your marketing, your website, and more. At times it may seem overwhelming and that you need to have one thing in place before you can start the next. If you take it one step at a time, you will be able to complete everything in due course and you’ll be able to do it right the first time. If you jump in too quickly or skip a step, you may find that you hit a roadblock or that your marketing falls flat. One of the most important parts of your voiceover business will be your voiceover demo. As I mentioned earlier, you might be able to get some voiceover work without a demo, but if you are going to present yourself as a voiceover professional, eventually you will need a professionally produced demo.
