ABSTRACT

A written invitation asks someone if they would like to attend an event, such as a party. Any invitation needs to contain certain key pieces of information. A checklist is drawn on the board of all the information you would need to put in the invitation. The checklist should include the name of the person holding the party, the reason for the party, what form the party will take, what date the party is to be held and where and when to meet for the party. It also includes what food will be provided, where and when the party will end, where a reply should be sent and the date by which a reply needs to be sent. For example, the ticket would include the time of the kick-off, details of the venue and who to contact to confirm their attendance. People can refer to the checklist to make sure they include all the relevant information.
