The best teacher will seem very concerned and reflective to the troubled teacher talking, that is on the exterior. But internally the good teacher is ready to hug you. The most effective teacher in the school and the least effective teacher in the school will be there and hear this teacher's regurgitation of conversation. The best teachers' outward reaction is not important. Their inward thoughts and emotions are the essential components. If they would be pleased with the way one approached this teacher, then this is a very valuable stamp of approval. The teachers will likely become reflective and worried. They might externally share how inappropriate the principal was. They have to maintain this leathery exterior. We can probably predict the mental reaction of the positive teacher in the workroom. Yet more essential than the less effective teachers' reactions is the potential response of others in the school.
