The Learner-Active, Technology-Infused Classroom is the embodiment of the ten principles: When used in concert, the ten principles create a systems-based classroom that propels student achievement and aligns with the CCSS. In the Learner-Active, Technology-Infused Classroom, the problem-based task is presented up front, before students have tackled any of the content. It provides a venue for ensuring that multiple adults are used well in the course of the class period. Combined with the Learner-Active, Technology-Infused Classroom, the seven insights create a powerful venue for standards-based instruction.
