ABSTRACT

The real origins of psychological thought are lost in prehistoric mystery. In the Western world, psychology is broadly the search for the causes of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. At various times and in various places, different assumptions about those causes have led to different answers and even different ways of seeking the answers, but the questions have remained much the same. And, after more than 3,000 years of written history, in many ways, the questions are still unanswered. Psychology is often a mystery.
