ABSTRACT
In the era of transnationalization, experiences of dealing with an unfamiliar culture are no longer limited to a small segment of society (Rodriguez, 1999). In fact, “unbounded transnational flows” of people (Lederman, 1998, p. 428) resulted in an estimated 175 million individuals living outside of their home countries (United Nations, 2002).
