This is final Volume IX of a series of Studies in Ethics and the Philosophy of Religion, written in 1969, this book is concerned with morality and purpose, and provides an opportunity for philosophical discussions of a limited length which pursue in some detail specific topics in ethics or the philosophy of religion, or topics which belong to both fields. The author J. L. Stocks was interested in the difference moral considerations make to human action.
