ABSTRACT
The Nusairis believe in one God, self-existent and eternal, who manifested himself seven times in the world in human form, from Abel to Ali-Ibn-Abu-Talib, which last manifestation, they say, was the most perfect; to this the others pointed, and in this the mystery of the divine appearances found their chief end and completion. 1
