chapter  17
Aux Deux Marches
Pages 4

THIS IS A diminutive and fascinating bistro. I know none other like it in the whole of Paris.

The narrow, little Rue Gl:t-le-Coeur runs off from the Quai des Grands Augustins, close to the Place Saint-Michel. So it is conveniently situated for hungry tourists who have been sightseeing on the Islands and in the old Latin Quarter. At No. IS Rue Git-Ie-Coeur, you will find a small grocer's shop. There are two steps up to the entrance, hence the name of Aux Deux Marches given to the bistro.
