chapter  34
Chez Lucien
Pages 4

Lucien opened his bistro in the Rue Surcouf four years ago, since when he has catered to a regular clientele largely composed of Anglo-Americans. He used to own a little bistro down near the Louvre, but there wasn't room enough, so he moved up here to the 7eme arrondissement. His present bistro is not much bigger, yet, despite the fact that it is always very full, you never feel overcrowded. The tables are set close together but you feel quite at ease in this animated atmosphere with Lucien himself both supervising in the kitchen and serving you at table.
