ABSTRACT
A PARTY without drinks is no party at all, but then nobody would seriously consider “soft drinks” for a meal. Even the most conscientious teetotaler, however disapprovingly, would provide for his guests the beverages they are used to, which they fully expect, and not his own concoctions.
