ABSTRACT
At 10 a.m. on Monday 4 September 1978, together with the other members of the Egyptian delegation to the Camp David Conference, I arrived at Abu Sweir Airport. We were there to receive President Sadat, who had travelled to Suez to perform Bairam prayers the day before. Afterwards, we were to go on to Paris, where we would stop over for a night on our way to the United States of America.
