ABSTRACT

I would be disloyal and could not claim to be in love with you, If I ever cried out for your help. You may impose union or separation, I am untouched by these two; your love is enough for me.1

Love should devour both separation and union. As long as the reality of union is in love's crop, the possibility of separation is removed.2 And this is something that not everyone understands. Since union (with love) is partition (from the self), partition (in this sense) is nothing other than union. Therefore, parting from one's self is the same as union. At this level, food is "foodlessness", being is non-being, attainment is non-attainment, and having a share is having no share.3
