ABSTRACT

The developmental perspective has shown us that there is no statis tical cut-off point which could define whether a child was dyspraxic or not. Motor coordination becomes a problem when limited skills are causing anxiety, distress or frustration to a child and his/her parents, and are affecting learning and behaviour. The different ways in which motor impairment can reveal itself between individuals and over situations often makes it hard for adults always to understand and to be sympathetic.
