But other people are essential for our survival. George needed his mother, he had from his birth. He also needed his father, and had started his relationship with him when he was only hours o ld Like all children, his contacts with others were crucial for his physical and emotional survival. But his parents hated each other and were constantly fighting. These events caused him anxiety and pain.
