ABSTRACT
Territory Power is implicit in the notion of territory, which describes a portion
of land controlled by some form of authority. Rights to territory can be defended by force, and the desire to expand territory can be justified as a natural entitlement. The s c a l e varies from a nation-state to an individual’s personal space, each contributing to senses of identity derived from shared space.
