ABSTRACT
The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) is a daily index made up of 24 dry routes.The Baltic Exchange Capesize Index (BCI) is made up of 11 daily Capesize vessel assessments including voyage and time charter rates. The Baltic Exchange Panama Index (BPI) is made up of 7 daily Panamax vessels including voyage and time charter rates. The Baltic Exchange Handymax Index (BHMI) consists of 6 daily timecharter rates. The Baltic Exchange Supramax Index (BSI) consists of 7 daily time charter rates, and is intended to replace the Baltic Handymax Index. The Baltic Handy Index (BHI) covers handy-sized bulk carriers. The Baltic Exchange Dirty Tanker Index (BDTI) consists of daily Worldscale assessments of international dirty tankers. The Baltic Exchange Clean Tanker Index (BCTI) is made up of daily Worldscale assessments international clean tankers. The Baltic Exchange LPG (BLPG) index represents a single daily assessment. Baltic Exchange Sale and Purchase Assessments (BSPA) are two-weekly assessments of second ship values-Aframax, VLCCs, Capesize and Panamax.
