Constitution so as to create a democratic and well focused worldwide organisation. EHMA is now an integrated part of IHMA.
EHMA began in the 1950s as an informal meeting of harbour masters of some of the major ports of north-west Europe. It became “officially” established with a Constitution in 1985 and a funded organisation in 1994.
