Dynamics of state–business relations and the evolution of capitalism in Russia in an age of globalization

What kind of capitalism is being developed in Russia? This question, much posed when the reform proceeded with the collapse of the Soviet Union, remains relevant more than decade on. As the “variety of capitalism” approach suggests, there are various types in place in the developed economies. Contrary to some predictions, the process of globalization has not resulted in a convergence of capitalism.
