ABSTRACT
As discussed in Chapter 10, planning and assessment are closely related. In fact, the planning process starts with reviewing what the children know and understand. Figure 11.1 shows how the process is cyclical and starts with assessment and ends with evaluation which inevitably leads into assessment again so that you are building on prior skills.
