ABSTRACT
In the wake of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Anthony Eden, British Foreign Secretary, flew to Moscow to discuss common Anglo-Soviet American problems. He consulted with Stalin on 16 and 17 December 1941 and found him keen to settle the post-war frontiers, even though the German Wehrmacht was at the gates of Moscow.
