ABSTRACT
In Belgrade on 9 May 1911 a secret organisation was formed with a constitution that laid down the purposes, principles and procedures of the group. It called itself Ujedinjenje ili Smrt – ‘Unification or Death’. In addition to the selections below, other articles made it clear that it was to proceed with complete secrecy and laid down punishments – including death – for members that violated any of its provisions.
