ABSTRACT
What are blogs? The technology of blogging is barely a decade old. There are various candidates for the ‘fi rst blogger’ (including some who pre-date the World Wide Web) and the fi rst ‘blog’, but the key change came in 1999 when the fi rst blogging services emerged which allowed anyone to create a blog without knowledge of HTML.
