ABSTRACT

A list of the holders of the various offices in the Mongol period must stop in general at the end of the thirteenth century for lack of further documentation. In fact the resulting gap is not very great in view of the increasing fragmentation of the territory, and consequently a reorganization of the administrative machinery in the narrower, and in some cases modified, framework of the new principalities.
