ABSTRACT
Electronic texts, referred to also as e-texts or etexts, is a term that refers to the digital equivalent of printed materials accessible from Internet servers, namely books, journals, newsletters and documents. Some of these are digital reproductions of printed items. Many thousands of classic texts in philosophy, history, social philosophy and political science have been painstakingly typed, scanned and edited into digital format. Others have no printed equivalent.
