ABSTRACT
Anti-appeasers Label applied to small grouping of Conservative MPs opposed to Neville Cham berlain’s policy of appeasement, which came into being during the summer of 1938. Main group followed the lead of Anthony Eden, who had resigned as foreign secretary in 1938, while a smaller number looked to Winston Churchill. Variously labelled the Glamour Boys or Edenites by the whips’ office the group ings lacked formality and had a very limited impact upon the government’s foreign policy.
