Part C will be concerned with the practical description of existing corpora. Each chapter aims to describe a particular corpus project, including its rationale, its special features, the principles of transcription and the system of mark-up employed. This final part of the book will therefore, we hope, be a valuable reference source, enabling readers to compare the various systems and solutions adopted.
