ABSTRACT
The whole purpose of a nursing model is to guide your practice; it is meant to offer a framework to help you through the stages of the problem-solving approach. In the words of Aggleton and Chalmers (2000, p. 17), nursing models will ’help those who use them to understand more fully what they are doing and why they are doing it’.
