ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will:
Demonstrate how theories of ‘non-representation’ challenge the representational mould of cultural geography and so mark out the limits of representation.
Understand how an engagement with bodies, feeling and affect may develop more sensual understandings of the world.
Explore how the idea of performance may be used to enliven geographic approaches to landscapes and everyday events.
Identify the problematic of performance in human geography.
