ABSTRACT
This chapter deals at some length with the functional requirements of walls and continues with the construction of brick, block and stone masonry walls, frame walls in timber and steel sections, internal partitions, and with claddings to external walls, in the course of which methods of attaining adequate weather resistance and thermal insulation are discussed.
