ABSTRACT
Public or outdoor sex can take many forms, such as sexual intercourse between a ‘loving’ couple or strangers in a field or public toilet; group sex in outdoor ‘swingers’ parties where ‘loving couples’ openly engage in sex with other couples or single people; ‘dogging’, where single people or couples engage in sexual acts in public or semi-public places, or watch others doing so; prostitution, where sex workers and their clients engage in sexual acts in cars and car parks; or sex between prisoners in a prison cell.
