ABSTRACT
Kids can sometimes act cruelly by teasing others. The kid in this poem defuses the kid who's teasing him with a very clever response. The message is that though we cannot control how others treat us, we can always control the way we react to them. This poem makes for a potentially endless discussion with students of all ages about the act of teasing and its detrimental effects on others.
