ABSTRACT

In this chapter we talk about finding and maintaining clients in this connected, integrated, and collaborative Arch3.0 world, and building in the necessary resiliency to confirm that the sustenance of your practice as an architect is successful. Navigating the Arch3.0 split between design for solutions and design for building enables you to focus on the role you can play in leading or partnering in collaborative relationships that may or may not involve construction, but do involve problem solving. In Chapter 12 we talk about how to measure success in this new world through a performance and improvement scorecard to help create strategy and tactics for creating and maintaining networks and clients.
