Identifying the value of your services: design for solutions In focusing on the fundamental 3.0 shift, first recognize that your practice is not just a design-for-building practice, but first a designfor-solutions practice. As a solutions designer you have your value determined through your expertise, knowledge, and networks, not just through your deliverables or your hourly charge rates. Establishing and measuring the value of those intangibles and then billing against and (more importantly) getting paid for those intangibles define the Arch3.0 practice model.
