Stakeholders: who are your practice’s stakeholders?
The internal stakeholders will be some of the same people identified and measured in your people perspective metric, including your drafters and modelers, your administration staff, and your business partners. Because your relationship with them as stakeholders is different than your relationship with them as part of your “people” perspective, the “stakeholder” perspective creates and measures them to a different set of performance requirements. Why are staff listed in both the stakeholder and people perspectives? The stakeholder perspective identifies the requirements of these people as your stakeholders (another way to view them is as customers). The people perspective lists them as people who learn and improve and engage with you as people, not customers. Stakeholder metrics identify and measure the interaction between you and your stakeholders.
