DOESN’T SOMEBODY OUT THERE HAVE A CHART? LESSONS LEARNED ABOUT CHANGE

Note: Reading this chapter may be done in its entirety or it may be read selectively. Each main heading corresponds to the book’s preceding chapters (Chapters 2-6). So, if you have been working on change for a while and are most concerned with sustaining change, you could con currently read the section in this chapter on sustaining change and Chapter 5. Also, we begin each section of this chapter with a “lessons learned” box, so if you are a busy practitioner and simply want the basic ideas, you can begin there. Some of you may prefer to get conceptually grounded in this chapter before you move into Chapters 2 through 6 whereas some of you may want to leap into the “how to” chapters right away. How you read the book is entirely up to you.
