EVALUATING PROGRAM EFFECTIVENESS
It is believed that developing these competencies will allow students to more effectively enter and function within a knowledge/im agination age society. It is also expected that an applied, contextual, and community-based education will increase motivation to learn and retention of students within high schools. Given these goals, the challenge is to identify measures that will be useful in determining if these goals are being achieved and to what extent. This first level of evaluation is outcome evaluation.
