ABSTRACT
The individualized education program (IEP) is the blueprint for the delivery of services to students with disabilities. As discussed in Chapter 5, there are certain constraints that must be adhered to in developing the IEP. However, the intent of the IEP is to protect the student and to guarantee the student an appropriate education in the least restrictive setting possible.
