ABSTRACT
There are many sources of performance tasks that can be adapted, in addition to those in this book. Many textbook publishers now offer some performance tasks and rubrics as part of their package. Some state departments of education have also created prototype tasks and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) has published some examples. The techniques for adapting existing tasks are described in this section.
