ABSTRACT
PERFORMANCE TASKS This chapter has a collection of performance tasks and ru-
brics that are aligned with the mathematics standards, and that address all the important topics in primary school mathematics. They are arranged in alphabetical order (by title), with a table at the beginning of the chapter to assist you in locating tasks that you may want to use to assess specific skills and concepts. Some of the tasks include student work, which serves to illustrate the manner in which students interpret the directions given to them and to anchor the different points in the scoring rubrics.
